Terri joined Thomson Realty Group in May 2009 to assemble and broker urban renewal projects and transactions. Her extensive database, contacts and knowledge of the northeast Dallas market make her a natural "go to broker" for projects in that area. She brings vision, risk management and construction expertise into her real estate transactions.
Terri began her real estate career in 2005 following three years as president of the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association, a non-profit alliance focused on economic development. Her leadership created a communications network that continues to improve and globalize the image of the northeast Dallas geographic area for urban renewal. She is honored to have actively participated on both the District 10 Strategic Plan and the forwardDallas! Community Advisory Committees.
In June 2006, Terri joined Prescott Realty Group to identify and assemble commercial properties for redevelopment. Her counsel of value potential in Lake Highlands inspired the Lake Highlands Town Center project, a 70 acre mixed use development now under development. As part of the town center team, she successfully negotiated with commercial property owners to support the Skillman Corridor Public Improvement District, assembled focus groups to gather strategic planning intelligence and organized groundbreaking and public relations events.
Terri is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has degrees in Business Administration and Interior Design. She lives in the White Rock Lake area of northeast Dallas in a 1940 Texas hill country style farmhouse that she envisioned and rebuilt in 2008. She has two young adult children and is active in a variety of community groups. |
